Dipl.-Phys. Hans Viehmann
Hans Viehmann, born in 1965, is working with ORACLE Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG as senior sales consulting manager.
After studying physics in Hamburg and London and one and a half years in basic research with the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft he began his career in the IT sector with ORACLE Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg in 1994. There he took the position of the business development manager for the area geodata integration in Germany in 1998 and was in this position already associated with InGeoForum shortly after it was founded. At the beginning of 2003 he changed to the business sector MIDDLEWEARE with ORACLE, where he he has since been responsible for the topics middleware platform and service-oriented architecture. This also includes topics like business process management and integration as well as application development and portals. His tasks include the technical sales support and the business development in this area. Key aspects of his work are not only the support of strategic projects, but, among others, also to encourage and develop solution partnerships for these technologies.
